Checked all cats at Los Angeles County Animal Control Shelter Baldwin Park (ACSBP) twice a week
Checked all cats at Pomona Valley Humane Society (PVHS) once a week
Visited and called San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) once week
Donated money to all three shelters
Befriended staff and animal handlers at all three shelters
Repeatedly left flyers with all of them and asked them to notify their drivers
Mailed a letter and flyer to all 77 animal hospitals within 10 miles
Mailed a letter and flyer to each animal shelter in the entire Los Angeles Basin
Mailed a letter to 59 homes on Morada Street in Baldwin Park to find out if anyone knew something about the injured black cat without a tail caught on their street and euthanized by the ACSBP
Collected hair from my cats and distributed it in the vicinity

Chased a gray/black cat without a tail at Charter Oak/Aurora Behavioral Hospital in Covina only to be ridiculed and joked about by staff (although the supervisor did allow me to set my traps after begging in tears, I was so sure it was NoTail)

Called Roto Rooter to search openings to bathtubs behind apartments with their remote camera
Asked shop keepers in Vons Shopping Center and left fliers
Manager of Vons allowed flier to be posted outside store for two weeks
Walked Kahler Russel Park so many times, can’t count
Trapped so many cats, can't count them, opossums, and one raccoon
Posted fliers around every unverified sighting farther away
Charter Oak School made two announcements upon request from my neighbor, who's son goes to school there
Enlisted homeless couple in park to keep watch after they reported three sightings
Bought dog house for patio to provide shelter and a place to hide, just in case he came back
Spread flower into the openings to see paw prints
Opened all accessible closed holes to bathtub piping in entire 281 apartment complex (more than once)
Bought two very powerful flashlights
Always carry items in car: flashlight, binoculars, camera, sticks, traps, wet food, dry food, water, sardines, bowls, blankets, maps, fliers, stapler, pins, tape, etc.
Cooked pots full of chicken and spread in selected locations
Made a U-turn for each black plastic bag, rag, and shadow in the street and gutter
Posted fliers at Citizens Business Bank and called to thank them (they never took them down)
Spread chicken liver in selected areas
Researched internet resources for hours and hours
